Back to Aproow Privacy Policy
Draft · 19 October 2026
This policy explains what Aproow processes when you visit our website or use Aproow, including the browser extension. Aproow helps teams turn QA reports into structured Investigations and work that a developer can review.
Who operates Aproow
Aproow is operated by [legal entity name and registered address to be added] (“Aproow”, “we”, “us”). For privacy questions, contact support@aproow.com.
Information we process
- Account and workspace information: name, email address, password verifier or federated sign-in identity, workspace and membership details, and authentication/session records.
- Reports and evidence you choose to submit: report descriptions, screenshots, page URL and title, browser and environment details, page replay and interactions, annotations, console errors, network request metadata, attached files, and voice narration when you choose that feature. Network evidence is designed to omit request and response bodies, headers, cookies and authorization data.
- Derived report information: transcripts and AI-generated summaries, classifications, reproduction steps, root-cause suggestions and other structured report fields. These remain distinct from the original evidence.
- Service and security records: technical events needed to authenticate users, protect the service, diagnose failures and keep an audit trail.
- Public question board: if you post a question, its text and any name you provide may be public. A private email address is collected to confirm receipt and send the team’s answer and roadmap decision; it is not shown publicly or sent to the question-screening AI.
How we use information
We process submitted reports to provide Aproow: store and display evidence to authorized workspace members, transcribe narration, and, where AI analysis is available and enabled, analyze eligible evidence to structure bug reports and suggest technical understanding. So, yes: Aproow analyzes data that you submit for these product functions. We do not sell reports or use them for targeted advertising. We do not build a business by monetizing customer reports. If our use of data materially changes, we will update this policy and notify affected users before the change takes effect.
Captures are started by you. Before submitting, review them carefully: page replay does not automatically hide all text or form values. Do not capture information you are not authorized to share. Voice is captured only when you select a voice feature. Raw evidence is kept separate in meaning from AI interpretation; generated summaries do not replace the original evidence.
AI, transcription and other service providers
To provide report analysis, submitted evidence or bounded information derived from it may be sent to the AI service configured for the deployment. Narration may be sent to the configured transcription service. Optional features you enable may also send information to the provider you select. AI is not used to inspect your private repository by default.
ZERO CODE is the default: repository source and coding-agent credentials stay in your Customer Trust Zone. Features that involve a repository require separate authorization and follow their own controls. Service providers process information to deliver their services; the exact provider list, locations, contractual terms and provider-specific retention must be confirmed for the deployment before this draft is final.
Who can see submitted information
Authorized members of your workspace may access information according to workspace permissions and Investigation visibility. An explicitly created public read-only link may expose the specific shared Aproow to anyone who has that link. Aproow personnel may access information when needed to operate, secure or support the service, subject to access controls. Public board questions and answers are visible to visitors; board email addresses are not. Board email is used for the receipt and the team’s response, and is available to authorized administrators. The email activity journal shows a masked address and delivery status, not the message body.
Storage and retention
Submitted information is stored with the Investigation and retained until deletion under the service’s current controls. The production retention period, backup expiry schedule and infrastructure-level deletion timing have not been finalized in the project decisions. We therefore do not promise a fixed deletion deadline in this draft. Contact support@aproow.com for a data request. Board question email is currently kept until a Superadmin deletes the question; a final retention rule and board-specific privacy notice still require approval.
Your choices and rights
You can choose whether to capture and submit a report, review evidence before submission, remove local drafts, and use workspace controls to manage access. Depending on where you live, privacy law may give you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing, or receive a copy of information. Send requests to support@aproow.com. We may need to verify your identity and coordinate with the workspace that controls the Investigation.
Security and international processing
We use access controls and encrypted connections for the service. No online service can promise absolute security. Data may be processed in the locations used by Aproow and its providers; the operator’s hosting region, provider locations and transfer safeguards must be added here before final publication.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Aproow changes. We will publish the revised policy here and give notice of material changes where required. Contact support@aproow.com with privacy questions.
